Head of Corporate Services

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the Corporate Department of the CSP business within the organisation;
  • Maintaining, developing, and overseeing the implementation of procedures within the Corporate Services Department;
  • Monitoring of work in progress within the corporate services department;
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of CDD processes;
  • Assisting with client relations;
  • Managing a portfolio of clients;
  • Liaising with clients, client representatives and advisors;
  • Liaising with the Malta Business Registry and other authorities/agencies;
  • Ensuring compliance of corporate client portfolio with applicable laws;
  • Advising related personnel/staff complement on applicable statutory developments;
  • Oversight and assistance in the coordination of training of related personnel/staff complement;
  • Provision of guidance to related personnel/staff complement on all technical issues relating or pertaining to corporate services;
  • Reporting regularly to the Group Managing Directors and to the Group Board of Directors on all matters relating or pertaining to the corporate services department;
  • Development, implementation, revision, update of all forms, manuals, policies, procedures, templates etc to be used in the corporate services department.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar roles within a CSP;
  • Having a good understanding of the Companies Act and related Subsidiary Legislation;
  • Having adequate knowledge on AML/CFT Laws & Regulations;
  • Having a high degree of communication skills, verbal and written with the ability to communicate externally and internally at all levels;
  • Having a good command of English as a working language. A good command of Italian, Spanish and/or French shall be considered an asset.
