RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting the Compliance Department in the development, implementation, revision, update of all forms, manuals, policies, procedures, templates etc (including AML procedures);
  • Assisting with the implementation of the Group’s compliance monitoring program;
  • Liaison with all other departments within the Group on compliance, including anti-money laundering and financing of terrorism, measures;
  • Assisting with the co-ordination of any regulatory audit, inspection, or visit;
  • Assisting with periodic customer file reviews;
  • Reporting regularly to the Group’s MLRO on all matters relating or pertaining to compliance including anti-money laundering and financing of terrorism measures;
  • Collecting, collating, maintaining and regularly updating all data required to complete annual statutory filings in terms of licence requirements (REQ, ACR, etc.);
  • Maintaining and regularly updating refused clients list, sanctions list, etc;
  • Challenging existing practices and procedures and making recommendations to management in accordance with industry best practice;
  • Driving and promoting a culture of compliance within the Group.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a similar role;
  • A good understanding of the TCSP industry;
  • Excellent prioritising skills, ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
  • Detail-oriented and an analytical mindset;
  • Fluency in English.
